My daughter has been sick for the last few days, and my husband ran to pick up Pedialyte for her last night. He ended up getting them for $2.57 each (when you figure in the catalinas). With coupons, here's what this transaction looked like:
Bought:
4 Pedialytes - $5.07 each
Used Coupons:
$2 off 1 Pedialyte
$2 off 1 Pedialyte
$2 off 2 Pedialytes
OOP Cost: $14.28
Catalinas Received: $4.00 (2 $2 off your next purchase)
Net Cost: $10.28 for 4 or $2.57 each
(We got one of these a few weeks ago when we bought 2 Pedialytes. So I'm assuming that the catalinas print when you buy in quantities of 2.)
My husband later asked if he should have checked the store brand price instead. I showed him the math on this, and he was impressed. He got a great deal and didn't even know it! What a shopper!

I am planning to stock up on Rite Aid's brand of Pedialyte this week. It's buy one get one free, and I want to avoid having my husband run to the store at 11:30 p.m. next time!
