I've written posts in the past about how to send coupons to overseas military families, but I've just stumbled upon a better way to do it.
I used to send my expired coupons to a military base whose address I found somewhere online. I never knew if my coupons were wanted or being used. I actually quit sending them after a while.
I found a great service for people who want to support our military by sending expired coupons to military families overseas. These families can use expired coupons up to 6 months past the expiration dates. Toni at The Happy Housewife offers a service where she will pair interested people with a specific overseas military family. I just signed up and was paired with a family very quickly. I am SO excited!
If you hate to throw away your expired coupons every month and want to use those coupons to support our military, visit The Happy Housewife's website. Contact her, and she will pair you with a family too! Let me know if you "adopt" a family.
