CVS Trip 5/8

I know that I've been really lax about getting the CVS deals posted on time lately! I'm so sorry! I'm going to try to do a better job of getting that information out earlier in the week. I've focused on my Start Saving series and missed a few of my regular deal listings. Hopefully next week we'll be back to normal!

I stopped by CVS today and got a few good deals. My goal was to get Claritin for my daughter and drinks for our trip this weekend. I got both and didn't spend too much, especially considering the cost of the items I got. Here's how my two transactions broke down:

5 12-packs of Coke products - $4.00 each
Merchandise Total: $20.00

Coupons Used:
-$14.00 ECBs from a couple of weeks ago

Total out-of-pocket: $6.00 (paid with a Staples rebate card)
ECBs Earned: $10.00

Transaction #2
Bought:
1 Children's Claritin $15.99
1 24-pack Ice Mountain bottled water $4.49
1 Colgate MaxFresh (with free toothbrush!) $2.99

Coupons Used:
- $1.00 Colgate coupon from recent newspaper insert
- $5.00 Claritin coupon from recent newspaper insert
- $10.00 ECBs from Transaction #1
- $5.00 ECBs from a recent week
