Target Shopping 5/7

We hit Target today! We were on a mission to find my four-year-old daughter sandals that didn't have a high heel on them. I can't believe how hard we've looked to find flat sandals! I was thrilled with the clothes that were on the kids' clearance racks though. We got a pair of jeans, a dress, a tank top, long shorts, a polo shirt, and a nightgown. My mom was brave enough to come with us this time, and she got some great deals too.

I paid $99.47 for everything you see here, but the clothes and shoes were $58.91, the dog food was $8.49, and I got 4 things for my brother (not pictured) for $15.96.

That means that all of the cleaning supplies and food pictured above were only $16.11! AND I got got $10 in gift cards back for buying the FiberOne products and the Glade candles. For $16.11, I got:
  • 6 bottles of Clorox wipes
  • 2 boxes of Electrasol tabs (Clearance priced at $3.64!)
  • 2 Glade soy candles
  • 1 Hershey's Bliss candy bar (not pictured)
  • 5 Nabisco 100 Calorie packs
  • 2 boxes of Special K crackers
  • 1 Chex Mix (free at the register with Target coupon)
  • 4 boxes of Quaker Simple Harvest granola bars
  • 2 V8 V-Fusion juice
  • 1 box Special K cereal
  • 2 boxes of Eggo waffles
  • 6 boxes of Kashi waffles
  • 2 boxes of FiberOne bars
  • 2 boxes of FiberOne pastries

They didn't have the FiberOne cereal that I wanted, but I was able to get a $5 Target gift card for buying 2 packs of FiberOne bars and 2 boxes of FiberOne toaster pastries. I had 2 $1 off coupons for the pastries (HERE), so I paid a total of $6.36 for all four FiberOne products, and I got the $5 gift card back. If I were to do it again, I would print 4 copies of the pastry coupon (from 2 computers), pay only $3.16 out-of-pocket, and get the $5 Target card back.

The Special K crackers were on sale for $2.39, and I had two $1 off printable coupons for them (HERE). These are so good! We'll be using these along with the 100 Calorie Packs, Chex Mix, granola bars, and toaster pastries when we travel this weekend. Now I just need to pick up some pop and bottled water at CVS. We'll be all set to travel without spending much at all!

You can see my other Target deal ideas for this week HERE. It was a good week to go to Target! We usually spend about this much when we Target shop, but we only go once every few months. I love the way their clothes fit our daughter, and we always make sure that we have the cash to pay for our purchases.

Thanks for stopping by, Renee! I'm glad to have you here! And you're quite welcome for the printable coupon links. I'm amazed at how many are out there, and I love it when they match up to make a good deal even better!
