A few months back I received a beautifully-packaged free sample of the new Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth deodorant in the mail. I was impressed by the presentation, but I was VERY skeptical about the product. True confessions here..... While I promote not being brand-loyal in order to be frugal, I don't practice what I preach when it comes to deodorant! My secret is out!
I have tried so many different kinds of deodorant in my quest for the perfect one, and I've been using the same kind for a couple of years now. I've truly had trouble finding one that worked year-round. Wintertime is easy. It's summer that's killer! But I was pretty satisfied with the brand that I've been using.
That's why I raised an eyebrow when the Dove sample arrived. I figured if I was going to test it out, I would wait until it really counted.... summertime! And I was pretty impressed. This is one tough deodorant! I liked it so much that I actually stocked up on it during the last Kmart super double coupon days. Coming from me, the brand-loyal-deodorant-girl, that's a compliment.

I love this post and I just wanted to tell you that I am a very brand loyal person when it comes to deodorant. Yes, it is my "secret" too! Anyway, I did buy 4 of the Dove Ultimates 2 weeks ago when K-Mart had their double coupons so I basically got them free. I have NOT tried them yet but after reading your post....I will be trying them when my other deordorant is finished and I will feel great about it!!! No need to send me any coupons....since I have 4 on hand. Thanks for the great post!!! I love your blog!
