As a Buzz Agent, I was asked to review the new CoverGirl Outlast Lip Stain. I was really excited to try it! I have a terrible time getting lipstick to stay put.
First, let me give you a little bit of information about the product. Outlast Lip Stain is different than lipstick. It's an actual stain which infuses your lips with color. It lasts for hours and feels much lighter than regular lipstick. It actually has a marker tip, allowing you to color in your lips. When you apply it, you feel like you're disobeying your mother who told you to never color on your face with marker!
I've tried Outlast Lip Stain a few times since receiving my sample in mail. I was truly impressed with its fresh fragrance (raspberry-vanilla), its staying power, and the ease of application. It also didn't dry out my lips, a serious plus. However, the color I received was not a good match to my skin color! I'm fairly pale, even in the summer. The color I received was pretty vivid, and it made my lips a little too prominent for my taste.
Overall, this is an excellent product. I am even considering buying another shade, Cinnamon Smile. I'm guessing that it would be a better match for me.
In the meantime, I have three sets of CoverGirl coupons to give away. If you're interested in trying Outlast Lip Stain (or any Cover Girl lip product), enter by leaving a comment below. On Saturday, August 22 I'll choose three winners using Random.org's random number generator. Please leave just ONE comment. Each winner will receive 3 $1.00 off coupons good for any CoverGirl lip product.
