Saving and Giving has moved to savingandgiving.net! I hope that you'll all join me over at Saving & Giving's new home. I'm planning some fun giveaways to kick things off. I'm still working on the site, and I'd love to hear your input. Let me know which features you want me to keep. You can email me at savingandgiving@gmail.com. If you're currently an email subscriber, you shouldn't see any change in your daily email newsletter. I switched the feed over so that you should continue to receive your daily updates.

Gift Idea for Older Family Members

Christmas will be here before we know it! We usually have the hardest time figuring out what to get our grandparents for Christmas. They seem to have everything and don't really have a wish list.

Most of them enjoy doing word search puzzles, and buying the puzzle books individually can really add up price-wise. We decided to get Jason's grandma a gift subscription so that the books would be delivered right to her mailbox. When I saw the price for a subscription on the card inside the magazine, my chin dropped!

So I started hunting. My efforts paid off with my find at Amazon.com. They have Dell word search puzzle magazine subscriptions for $14.97. That's MUCH more reasonable!

If you have an older family member (or any family member!) who enjoys word search puzzles, this might be an idea that you can use for Christmas gift giving. You can see the one I ordered for Jason's grandma HERE. I had it delivered right to her by using her address as the shipping address. The shipping is free, and you can even print out a gift notification card.

Have you started thinking about Christmas gifts yet? My goal is to have all of our gift shopping done by November so that we can enjoy December and focus on the true meaning of Christmas.
