I finally get to take a deep breath.
I've been running on high speed all summer long, working more days in a few months than I ever have. Last Friday was the end of last year's contract. Monday was a fresh start. I'm back to working three days a week for a while instead of four.
I actually came home early from work Monday (planned) and got to spend some time cleaning my kitchen.... really cleaning it. I scrubbed the half the cupboards, emptied and scrubbed the counters, removed and cleaned everything from the tops of the cabinets, and scrubbed three sets of mini blinds. I couldn't believe how dusty things had gotten! Ick!
Getting back to a more normal schedule.... knowing that my kitchen is halfway clean (and should be all the way clean by the end of Tuesday).... getting to stop and just take a deep breath.....

For this I am thankful.
