Gratituesday: My Brother

It's Tuesday, and as I reflect on what I'm thankful for today, my brother comes to mind. Yesterday was his birthday, and we got to share part of it with him! God just had it all worked out. I was needed for a quick road trip for work, my husband and daughter came with me, and we spent the night at my brother and sister-in-law's house.

It was fun to share dinner and give him his birthday gifts ON his birthday! Now that we're both grown and live two hours apart, we often celebrate birthdays a few days (or sometimes weeks) before or after. So this was truly a treat!

My brother and I used to fight just like all siblings are known to do. But now we get along really well. I'm thankful for the godly man he's grown to be, the loving husband he is, and the wonderful daddy he's soon-to-be!

What are you thankful for today? To find out what others are thankful for, stop by Gratituesday hosted by The Heavenly Homemakers.

It sounds like such a blessing that you got to celebrate his birthday with him on his birthday. It is amazing what little things can do for us. It seems like you have a very special brother!
