FREE Games at Kroger

I just posted this week's Kroger deals HERE, but I wanted to highlight one deal that might help with your Christmas shopping. Kroger is offering select games Buy 1 - Get 1 FREE this week. If your newspaper has the USA Weekend insert inside, check it for a Buy 1 - Get 1 FREE Hasbro card game coupon. The coupon is good for Scrabble Slam!, Rook, Monopoly Deal, Littlest Pet Shop Go Fish, and Pictureka! Use this at Kroger, and you'll get 2 FREE games! These would be great stocking stuffers or donations for needy families.

Hi Jennifer. I went to Krogers to do this deal, and I had so many problems getting them to take this coupon. They ended up taking my coupon, but put up a sign stating they won't be accepting it any longer. I was told it wasn't right I was getting 2 for free, and they would go out of business if they accepted coupons like this. It was probably the worst coupon experience I've ever had. I tried explaining over and over to them how it works, but didn't have any luck. Hopefully other Kroger stores are taking this coupon.

Yikes! I thought that their coupon policy stated that you could pair a buy 1 - get 1 deal with a buy 1 - get 1 coupon! I just sent an email to the corporate office asking them to forward me a copy of their coupon policy. I also described the sign and the refusal of the coupon, hopoing that they would take care of that issue as well. I'll let you know what they say. I'm glad you got to use your coupons!

I also called the corporate office, and I was told that a store manager has the right to refuse any coupon. I'm thinking that I just chose the wrong cashier, who thought that the fact that I was getting those games free, wasn't right. I tried explaining how the coupon worked, and how they would be reimbursed, but to no avail. :(
