Hasbro Buy 1 - Get 1 FREE Games: Stick with Target

From what I'm hearing about the difficulty of using the Hasbro Buy 1 - Get 1 FREE games coupon that was in this weekend's USA Weekend insert, you might be better off heading to Target.

Our local Kroger has a sign up stating that they are not honoring the coupon. When my bloggy friend Kristen called corporate, she was told that the manager was allowed to deny the use of any coupon. Others are reporting that the games are each ringing up at 50% off, meaning that your buy 1 - get 1 coupon will only save you half. Granted, that means that you'll be getting two card games for about $2.50. But when you weren't planning on paying anything, that's still frustrating.

The good news is that Target seems to have a better deal going on. There is a Buy 1 - Get 1 FREE Hasbro game Target coupon (print HERE). You should be able to pair that with the manufacturer's coupon to get both free.

Let me know if you try either Kroger or Target and how things end up!

I'm not finding the BOGO free Target coupon. Do you know what page it is on?

Melissa, thanks for making me realize I gave the wrong link. I just updated the post to reflect the correct link. The Target coupon is good for Monopoly Deal or Scrabble Slam. I found the printable coupon on page 5 with the current link. Hope that helps!

The coupon that I found said that you get a free Monopoly Deal or Scrabble Slam card game when you buy Monopoly City game. or Scrabble Deluxe Edition. Is there another BOGO on there because I didn't think this would make the games free?

Brooke, I've read some discussions about this on other blog sites, and it looks like the coupon is working for this deal. I didn't notice the wording on it when I posted this. I've also read that there's a B1G1 coupon in the Target toy book. If you can get your hands on one of those, that might work better.
