I'm still working on the site, and I'd love to hear your input. Let me know which features you want me to keep. You can email me at savingandgiving@gmail.com. If you're currently an email subscriber, you shouldn't see any change in your daily email newsletter. I switched the feed over so that you should continue to receive your daily updates.

Amazon: My Favorite Last-Minute Christmas Gift Ideas

I'm sure that none of my regular readers would ever wait until the last minute to buy gifts for Christmas, right? Well, just in case any strangers have stumbled onto this post, I wanted to share two quick last-minute gift ideas for anyone who may have procrastinated a bit.

Amazon has two great ways to give that do not require any biting of nails or hoping that packages will arrive by December 24.

Magazines

You can give a magazine subscription from Amazon and print a magazine gift notification card or send an email gift notification. Right now you can get extra savings on MANY magazine subscriptions. Here are my favorites:

Note that the $5.00 discount for each of these will not appear until you begin the checkout process. Even in your cart, the regular price will be showing. Just begin the checkout process, and you'll see the discount applied. Remember that magazines are always shipped free, but they also count toward the $25 free shipping minimum for the rest of your Amazon order.

Amazon is also offering gift cards that you can print at home. We're going to do this for a family member who just got a Kindle reader. You can choose any amount between $5 and $5000, enter the necessary information, and print your gift card from home. I just got a couple of Amazon gift cards from using Swagbucks, so we can now use those to buy the gift card. It's a nice last-minute gift that can actually be wrapped! Or, if the recipient lives far away, you can also have the gift card emailed to them.

Do you have any other last-minute Christmas gift ideas??
