I'm still working on the site, and I'd love to hear your input. Let me know which features you want me to keep. You can email me at savingandgiving@gmail.com. If you're currently an email subscriber, you shouldn't see any change in your daily email newsletter. I switched the feed over so that you should continue to receive your daily updates.

CVS: I Got FREE Huggies Good Nites!

I stopped by CVS after work today because we're almost out of GoodNites. Here's what I got....

What I Bought:
GoodNites - $11.99 (not on sale!)
Contour Meter - $14.99

Coupons Used:
-$2.00 GoodNites coupon from 11/15 SmartSource insert
-$14.99 Contour coupon from 10/25 RedPlum insert
-$9.99 Extra Care Bucks

Out-of-Pocket Cost: $0 (only $.84 tax!)
ECBs Earned: $5.00 from Contour meter

I did sacrifice $4.99 in ECBs, but I'm hoping to make up for that in the coming weeks.

The best news is that I scored $4 off Tums (24-count or higher) and $2 off Nivea body wash coupons at the bottom of my receipt!! Looks like I'm getting 2 Nivea body washes for $.98 next week! (To see how, head over HERE.)

Holy cow! They are just about a dollar a piece?? Good thing you got them cheap!

What is everyone doing with the Bayer things?? I don't need those.

Cara, the glucose meters can be donated. Check out my post here about how people who can't afford meters can be helped with these: http://savingandgiving.blogspot.com/2009/03/joy-of-free-glucose-meters.html

It's a great way to help people while helping yourself save/make money!
