I just received an email from my bloggy/real-life friend Kathy. She read a notice in our local newspaper stating that our local Kroger (St. Clairsville, Ohio) would be tripling coupons again this weekend. The promo runs from today through Sunday (3/11-3/14).
This is one of my favorite Kroger deals! You can still use the e-coupons from Cellfire or Shortcuts, and catalina deals still work. Check out the great deals we scored during the last triple coupon event.
Before you head out to Kroger, remember to stop by Coupons.com and RedPlum to print your coupons!!
As always, remember to call your store to determine whether or not they are participating before you head out.

i know this is a dumb question, but I thought I'd just ask it anyway. So normally they triple coupons up to 39 cents...and double up to 50 cents...so the smaller amount coupons will be the same, but 40 cents and up will be tripled? so If I have a 50 cent off brownie coupon, they will take $1.50 off?
(Don't laugh too hard when reading this...I'm a little slow today!)

Kelly, that's not a dumb question at all. In fact, it's a little confusing. I can tell you what our store does, but you'll definitely want to contact your store to see what their policies are.
Our store normally doubles up to $.50 off. We don't have any triples at all. When they do the triple coupons, they triple everything up to $.50 off.
I recommend calling your store to verify that they're participating and to see what all they're tripling. It's so different from region to region.
Kelly, I just realized that I didn't answer your brownie coupon scenario question. Yes, they would take $1.50 off the brownies in your scenario.
thanks jennifer--i didnt realize kroger did regional deals like that--we didnt have a kroger from where Im from, but now that we live in texas they have one--so im just getting used to them. i checked our online circular and it didnt mention anything. im hoping they have one of those super doubler events where they double $1off coupons. that was awesome!!! :) thanks again!

Kelly - Ours wasn't advertised in the circular either. It was an ad in the local newspaper. That's how they usually do ours.
I remember when ours doubled up to $1 a few years ago. I wasn't a great couponer then, but I would LOVE it now!!!
