Kroger: Saved $114.19 (64%)

This was quite the day at Kroger! I stopped at lunchtime today and thought I bought 8 items to get the $4 March to Savings discount. I checked over my receipt only to discover that I had bought only 7 of the necessary items. No $4 discount to be found! Plus one of the items scanned at the wrong price.

Then Emma and I went to the Kroger close to home after dinner tonight. Would you believe I did the same thing!?! I thought that the Steamfresh veggies were part of the March to Savings promo, but the size I bought was the wrong size for the sale. (Great deal with triple coupons though!) So I grabbed two Powerades as a cheap filler and got the $4 discount. Geesh!

That said.... Here's what we ended up with. It's broken into two pictures, because there were two separate trips.

Total Spent (both trips): $64.81

Does Kroger always triple their coupons? Getting stuff for free is amazing!

Oh how I miss the days when our local Kroger would have triple coupons and doubled dollar coupons. I talked to a cashier there and she said that those days will never appear again.

My store will double up to fifty cents and limit two of the same coupons. I do my best to get what bargains I can but it does make shopping there difficult.

Our local Kroger always doubles coupons up to $.50. However, they've been having these triple coupon weekends about once a month lately. I'm hoping that they will continue! I love free stuff! :)

Tracy ~ Shortcuts and Cellfire are WONDERFUL programs. No clipping involved, and you still save! :)

Some Kroger stores triple and others don't. It just depends on your location. Fortunately, ours always seems to be on the list.
