Saving and Giving has moved to savingandgiving.net! I hope that you'll all join me over at Saving & Giving's new home. I'm planning some fun giveaways to kick things off.
I'm still working on the site, and I'd love to hear your input. Let me know which features you want me to keep. You can email me at savingandgiving@gmail.com.
If you're currently an email subscriber, you shouldn't see any change in your daily email newsletter. I switched the feed over so that you should continue to receive your daily updates.

A Way to Earn: Online Focus Groups
I recently signed up with Focus Forward, a group that helps companies complete paid marketing research studies. I completed my first online focus group a couple of weeks ago, and the check arrived in today's mail. I actually earned $225 for a two-hour online session. Not a bad hourly rate!
If you're interested in trying this as a way to earn a little extra money, you can sign up with Focus Forward HERE. Be sure to complete your Profile Builder survey so that they know what types of opportunities to send your way. You will then receive emails when new opportunities arise. You'll be asked to complete an online survey that gathers demographic information from you. If you match the type of person that they need for a particular company's project, then you will receive a follow-up phone call. If you pass through that screening process, then you're in!
I enjoyed the online focus group environment. Because they hand-pick participants who match certain criteria, you end up interacting with people who have interests similar to yours. Two hours of my time was well-worth the payment I received.
Let me know if you sign up and if you get picked to do any surveys or focus groups!
