First Stop - Kroger


I stopped at Kroger before work this morning, armed with 5 Cottonelle 50 cent off coupons. I planned to snag 5 of the 99 cent 4-packs for free. (My Kroger doubles coupons up to 50 cents.) I grabbed those along with 1 box of $1 candy to share with a co-worker (her favorite kind) and headed to the checkout.

I did the self-checkout, and when I handed the cashier my coupons, she found that three of them were specifically for the Cottonelle with Aloe. UGH! Of course, they didn't have that in a 4-pack! I asked her to take 3 of the 4-packs off my order and got the other two free.

Total spent $1.07 (including tax)... not a bad start. I'll be off to Wal-Mart at lunchtime...
