I've been pondering the CVS Pepsi 12-pack deal all week. Do I really want to spend $12 on Pepsi? Well, I know it would be less after the $2 off any $10 purchase. I know I could get $3 ECBs back for buying 4. I know I could pair it with the Sobe coupons and get $5 off and 2 more ECBs. But do I really want to spend the money from my gift card???
Emily & Jenny from Mommin' It Up! came up with a GREAT idea! They say that CVS usually takes competitors' coupons. They found $1 off coupons for Mt. Dew and Diet Mt. Dew from Target. (You can print as many as you want here.) I just printed 4 of them. So here's my plan....
First, pray that my CVS will take competitors' coupons!
4 Mt. Dew/Diet Mt. Dew 12-packs $12
5 Sobe waters $5
4 Trial sized Clean & Clears $0.99 each
1 CVS brand lotion $2.00
Total $22.96
5 Sobe waters $5
4 Trial sized Clean & Clears $0.99 each
1 CVS brand lotion $2.00
Total $22.96
4 $1 Target Mt. Dew coupons (here)
4 $1 Sobe coupons (here) - You get 1 free with a Pepsi 12-pack.
2 $1 Clean & Clear coupons (from recent newspaper inserts)
1 $2 Clean & Clear coupon (I got this in the mail. ???)
1 $2 off any CVS brand skincare coupon (here)
$4 off any $20 purchase (printed on a previous receipt)
4 $1 Sobe coupons (here) - You get 1 free with a Pepsi 12-pack.
2 $1 Clean & Clear coupons (from recent newspaper inserts)
1 $2 Clean & Clear coupon (I got this in the mail. ???)
1 $2 off any CVS brand skincare coupon (here)
$4 off any $20 purchase (printed on a previous receipt)
Total after coupons $4.96
I have $2 ECBs, so I'll use $2.96 from my gift card.
I will also earn $5 ECBs on this transaction. ($2 Sobe/$3 Mt. Dew)
I will also earn $5 ECBs on this transaction. ($2 Sobe/$3 Mt. Dew)
Now THAT I can live with! I'll let you know if my CVS takes competitors' coupons or not. If not, I guess I'll consider this a great exercising of my math skills!
