CVS is truly trying to win my heart this week. As I tore off the EBCs from the bottom of my last receipt, I noticed a new coupon. This one entitles me to a $25 gift card for any new or transferred prescription. Do they have any idea how much a $25 gift card to their store is really worth? Using the ratio from yesterday's shopping, it would be close to $300 worth of goodies!
I actually moved our prescriptions to another pharmacy when my daughter starting taking her current meds. Our CVS is a smaller one, and they didn't have the ability to flavor kids' medications. I like to have each family member's prescriptions at a single pharmacy so that the pharmacist knows what each one is taking. Since I only take one medication that I fill every month, I think I might switch back. Now that I'm CVSing, I'm there often enough that picking up refills should be pretty convenient. If you don't automatically get this coupon printed on your receipt, it might be worth asking the store manager about the deal!
