I stopped by CVS for some OTC med for my husband today, hoping to pair it with some AMBI bars of soap. AMBI is offering $3 ECBs when you buy any of their products this month. The bar soaps are usually $1.99 at CVS. Unfortunately, my CVS doesn't have them! (Ahhh... the story of my CVSing life!) Oh well.... I still got a good deal. Just no ECBs.

Yeah, I had the same problem with the soap. I didn't even see a spot for them. Oh well. I've learned altely to hit the drugstores as early as possible in the week because they sell out so quickly! Thanks for visiting my blog! I had two questions. About how much did you spend on the printer and do stores ever give you a problem about black and white coupons? Thank you!
I actually got the printer dirt cheap because we had returned a bunch of ink/toner cartridges for the $3 refund. Staples credits your rewards card $3 every time you return one, with a limit of 3 per day per card. When we got our rewards check, I waited until the printer was on sale. The one we bought was an HP P1006, normally $180. But it was on a 1/2 price sale and I had about $70-worth of rewards. So I only paid $20 for it. I know not everyone will have that! However, if you let people know that you want their used ink/toner cartridges, they'll give them to you. It's amazing how they add up!
The toner cartridge for this printer is $64.00, but it yields about 1,500 pages. You'd have to print 4 coupons every single day of the year to use it up.
I've never had a store give me any trouble with black and white printed coupons. I've used them at Kroger, CVS, and Wal-Mart. So far so good!!
