Here's my dilemma.... My daughter is almost out of pull-ups (which we only use for nap time now!), and I'm almost out of makeup remover. I also just used my last box of haircolor. But the deals at CVS are almost non-existent this week. I have $8.99 in ECBs from last week, so here's my plan:
Transaction #1:
3 Garnier hair colors $4.99 each
1 Aleve D Sinus (donating) $3.99
1 Excedrin Express (donating) $3.99
3 Garnier hair colors $4.99 each
1 Aleve D Sinus (donating) $3.99
1 Excedrin Express (donating) $3.99
-$4 off any $20 purchase from previous receipt
-$2 x 2 Garnier hair color coupons from Sunday's paper
- $1 Aleve printable coupon (here)
-$8.99 ECBs from last week
-$2 x 2 Garnier hair color coupons from Sunday's paper
- $1 Aleve printable coupon (here)
-$8.99 ECBs from last week
Total OOP: $4.96 plus tax
Earn: $11.99 ECBs ($5 Garnier*, $3 Aleve, $3.99 Excedrin)
I'm transferring another prescription, so I'll be paying with a gift card. If you have a prescription to transfer, use the Rite Aid coupon (here). CVS will honor this as a competitor's coupon.

*I had purchased slightly over the $15 Garnier deal last time, and they carry over that balance and count it toward your next deal. So I only need to buy 3 at $4.99 to hit the $15 mark. If you're just starting, you'll need to purchase one more item to make $15.
Transaction #2:
Pull-ups $15.79
Almay makeup remover $5.99
Pull-ups $15.79
Almay makeup remover $5.99
-$1 Almay coupon from Sunday's newspaper
-$2 Huggies coupon from a recent Sunday newspaper
-$2 off any $10 purchase (here)
-$11.99 ECBs from Transaction #1

-$11.99 ECBs from Transaction #1
Total OOP: $4.79 plus tax
Earn: $0 ECBs
Earn: $0 ECBs
It's disappointing to not have any ECBs to roll to next week, but I absolutely have to get the pull-ups and makeup remover. I guess it's better to pay very little (or use a small amount of my gift card) for these items than it would be to pay full-price at another store.
The good thing about very few deals this week is that I don't have a lot of spare shopping time this week. I guess that removes the temptation to forget my priorities and spend time shopping instead!
