Saving and Giving has moved to savingandgiving.net! I hope that you'll all join me over at Saving & Giving's new home. I'm planning some fun giveaways to kick things off. I'm still working on the site, and I'd love to hear your input. Let me know which features you want me to keep. You can email me at savingandgiving@gmail.com. If you're currently an email subscriber, you shouldn't see any change in your daily email newsletter. I switched the feed over so that you should continue to receive your daily updates.

Wendy's Bid for Value Game

Wendy's has started an interesting new promotion. I had to read the fine print to truly understand what they were going to do. It all starts tomorrow.

Wendy's will post high-ticket items on their game site (HERE). Contestants (that's us!) log into the site and answer trivia questions about Wendy's products. If you correctly answer a trivia question, you get to click the BID button. The bids begin at the actual retail value of each item. Each click of the BID button lowers that price by a pre-designated amount. The person whose click causes the price to go down to 99 cents wins the item!

I was a bit confused at first, but it acutally sounds like fun now! These aren't real money bids. They're just chances to knock the price down. If you knock it to 99 cents, you win! They have some great prizes, and the prizes are spread our over several days (March 25 through April 3). Prizes include an Xbox, Plasma HDTV, pool table, 4-6 person hot tub, basketball hoop, autographed items, and more. Go HERE to see the official rules and prize list.

The fun begins tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. EST. Be sure to leave a comment if you win.... or just if you have fun trying!
