I just came across Paiges' Place and saw that she was hosting Five Ingredient Friday. It's Saturday.... I'm a day late.... But I'm jumping in anyway! Hope you don't mind, Nicole.
My five ingredient receipe is an incredibly easy -- and yummy -- soup. Simply combine the following:
1 can Progresso Minestrone
1 15 oz. can petite diced tomatoes
1 15 oz. can black beans
1 15 oz. can mixed vegetables
1 15 oz. can white corn
Don't drain anything. Seriously.... this is SO easy and SO good. It's best when you combine it in a crock pot, but you can heat it on the stove top in a pinch. If you feel like breaking the five ingredient rule, you can add some browned/drained ground beef or sweet Italian sausage. If you're all about playing by the rules, you can leave out the mixed veggies and swap in the meat! We usually do this one meatless though, and it's still good.
This is a great meal to keep on-hand in your pantry too. I've even served it with homemade bread for company! It's a hit at my house!
If you have a five-ingredient recipe, I'm sure it's not too late for you to jump in too. Just click over HERE to add your recipe.
