Saving and Giving has moved to savingandgiving.net! I hope that you'll all join me over at Saving & Giving's new home. I'm planning some fun giveaways to kick things off. I'm still working on the site, and I'd love to hear your input. Let me know which features you want me to keep. You can email me at savingandgiving@gmail.com. If you're currently an email subscriber, you shouldn't see any change in your daily email newsletter. I switched the feed over so that you should continue to receive your daily updates.

Rite Aid Deals 4/24

I stopped by Rite Aid today for one of my fastest shopping trips ever. My goal was to stock up on GoodNites pull-ups. These seem to go on sale in spurts, but we always run out when they aren't on sale. Buying these at full-price (even with coupons) can certainly add up when you're used to buying them at rock-bottom prices (with coupons). Here's how I saved on pull-ups and got something to share at the same time.

Transaction #1:
1 GoodNites pull-ups $8.99
1 Bayer glucose meter $29.99
- $1.50 Pull-ups coupon from recent newspaper insert
- $29.99 Glucose meter coupon from recent newspaper insert
- $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupon HERE
Out-of-Pocket: $2.49 plus tax
* I'm eligible for a $3.00 rebate on the pull-ups too, so I made money!

Transaction #2:
1 GoodNites pull-ups $8.99
1 Bayer glucose meter $29.99
- $1.00 Pull-ups coupon from a blinkie at Kmart
- $29.99 Glucose meter coupon from recent newspaper insert
- $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupon HERE
Out-of-Pocket: $2.99 plus tax
* This one isn't eligible for a rebate, because the rebate limit is 1.

I love this deal for two reasons. First, it gets us well-stocked on pull-ups. Second, I'm able to share the glucose monitors with people who really need them. You can read about how to do some giving with glucose monitors in my post HERE. I know that these are greatly appreciated by people who can't afford them. It's a fantastic way to be "Saving and Giving!"
