Saving and Giving has moved to savingandgiving.net! I hope that you'll all join me over at Saving & Giving's new home. I'm planning some fun giveaways to kick things off. I'm still working on the site, and I'd love to hear your input. Let me know which features you want me to keep. You can email me at savingandgiving@gmail.com. If you're currently an email subscriber, you shouldn't see any change in your daily email newsletter. I switched the feed over so that you should continue to receive your daily updates.

Kindred Couponing Spirits

I ran out to pick up a few things on my lunch hour today, and I ran into two fellow frugal shoppers who struck up conversations. The first was my cashier at JCPenney. I had picked up several new clothing items for myself (haven't shopped in a LONG time!) and was checking out with my $10 off $10 coupon. She offered me a $15 off $75 coupon from the newspaper instead, saving me an extra $5! I then used the $10 off coupon on a jewelry purchase that I was already planning to make. Even better!

While my cashier was voiding an error she had made on my order, the man behind me in line told me that there were $1 printable coupons for Coke this week. (I had tried them but got the message that the print limit had been reached.) We were talking about how most people think CVS is an expensive drugstore, but we knew better! He and his wife had just started their frugal shopping adventures, and he was asking which blog sites I used to get my deal information. I was able to share my site information with him.... though I seriously need some blog business cards!

It's so fun to run into people who are shopping the way that I am! They can truly appreciate when you get a good deal, and we can cheer each other on!

You can always get free buisness cards at vistaprint and only pay for shipping. This Is a great way to get some for free. I also heard something about staples giving free buisness cards and resumes.
