Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are $.50 each (limit 4 per transaction) at CVS this week. There was a $.55 off coupon in the 8/23 SmartSource insert, making these peanut butter cups free! There was also a Buy 1 - Get 1 FREE coupon that you can use. In fact, if you buy 2 peanut butter cups and use both the B1G1 and $.55 off coupons, you should get both free. (Using both is allowed, because you're using one coupon per item.) There's nothing like free chocolate to make a girl smile!
If you happen to have more than 4 coupons, you can do this deal more than once. The limit of 4 is per transaction, not per card or per person. So just be sure that you only get 4 candy bars each time you check out. Otherwise they'll ring up at full price, not $.50.
I'm planning to hold onto my coupons until I see if I get an email coupon from CVS this week. If they send a $5 off $30 coupon, I'll use the Reese's cups to bring my total closer to $30. It's nice to use freebies like this to make your total higher so you can use the email coupons!
Remember, CVS is also running a promo where you get 1 free candy bar when you buy 10. This is an ongoing promo, so watch the bottom of your receipt.
