Who can resist a great chocolate deal? I just stopped at the Kroger store in Steubenville, Ohio on my lunch break, and they had bags of Hershey's Bliss chocolates on sale for $1.19 a bag. That's a great deal, but it's even better when you pair it with the $1.00 off 2 coupon from the 9/20 SmartSource insert. I grabbed 4 bags, used 2 coupons, and paid $.69 a bag! These will be perfect sprinkled in gift bags at Christmastime... if we can keep them until then!
The fine print: When I asked the lady who was doing inventory why they were so inexpensive, she pointed out how many they had. Someone had ordered WAY too many. It's worth checking to see if your store ordered too many packages too. It may be just this store, or it may be more widespread than that.
Saving and Giving has moved to savingandgiving.net! I hope that you'll all join me over at Saving & Giving's new home. I'm planning some fun giveaways to kick things off.
I'm still working on the site, and I'd love to hear your input. Let me know which features you want me to keep. You can email me at savingandgiving@gmail.com.
If you're currently an email subscriber, you shouldn't see any change in your daily email newsletter. I switched the feed over so that you should continue to receive your daily updates.

You can use a jar sealer from food saver and put extra candy in a jar and seal it for indefinitely! After a holiday is a good time to stock up and the seal it for next year!
