While we were out Kmart-ing yesterday, I made a quick dash into CVS to take advantage of the Mt. Dew deal. I also wanted to do the J&J First Aid moneymaker deal. Here's how my transaction went.
Bought:
4 12-packs Pepsi products - $12.00
3 Garnier haircolors - $15.00
2 J&J First Aid To Go! kits - $1.98
Merchandise Total: $28.98
Coupons Used:
-$1.00 off J&J First Aid products x 2 (reduced to $.99 each)
-$5.00 off any $25 purchase I received via email
-$14.00 ECBs from last week
Out-of-Pocket: $8.00 plus tax
ECBs Earned: $11.00 ($4 Pepsi, $5 Garnier, $2 J&J)
Savings: 72%
These were all great deals, but the J&J was my favorite. I paid NOTHING for the first aid kits and got back $2 in ECBs.

I wrote HERE about why I am willing to lose a few ECBs on Pepsi product deals. It truly does save us a TON of money to have cans on-hand. The Pepsi deal is only good through Tuesday (8/18).

Not to bum you out or anything but there was a $2/1 Nutrisse coupon in the 8/16 RP. So that would have been an additional $6 savings. =)
But it's definitely been a great CVS week! =)
I actually bought 3 papers thinking that the coupon was in there. I was totally prepared! Unfortunately, the coupon was regional. All we got was an ad! I was so disappointed!!
